This is my favorite affiliate program. Strange enough I prefer Amazon associate program to Google AdSense. I think many don't like Amazon affiliate program simply because low commission rate and short life time of their cookies which is only 24 hours. But I think it's one of the best affiliate programs around today so one of the best and easiest ways to earn money online.

Pros of Amazon affiliate program

• It's easy to Join Amazon Associate program. If you have a decent web site or blog they will accept you. Even a blogger.com blog is enough.
• They are house hold name which people trust.millions of people buy products from Amazon web sites so it's not hard to sell their items.
• They do pay and we can count on that. Unlike other affiliate sites we don't need to worry about the payment till we get it.
• Unlike AdSense their rules are little less strict and you have a less chance to get banned for nothing. After all they pay you commission only if item is sold and shipped.
• Amazon affiliate program send you checks so you don't need to worry about Paypal. Also if you are in USA then you can get electronic transfer too.
• Amazon site has wide range of products and you can earn commission whatever user buy after going through your link with in 24 hours. So a person might go through a banner about a movie DVD and buy a Plasma TV. 

Cons about Amazon affiliate program

• Their affiliate cookie only last 24 hours. So you only get paid if the person buy items within 24 hours. This is not something everyone do. Sometimes people research first and buy later.
• They have a flat rate of 4% for consumer electronic products like TVs or cameras. Which is kind of low and the reason many web masters dislike the Amazon affiliate program.

Amazon affiliate program might not work for all sites. Amazon affiliate program is very good for review sites or blogs. Also if you have a blog with faithful readers. Also people willing to buy from Amazon than from any other place. They trust the Amazon name and their return policy. So it's not hard to earn money online with Amazon. associate program.
